The new CESA, ECSA, SOA and SSA pay rates come into effect from the first Monday in January (2nd January 2023) and are based on last year's rates uplifted by the 12-month RPI average rate from November to October (Nov-21 to Oct-22 = 10.5%). October RPI results are released mid-November.
National Living Wage (NLW) and National Minimum Wage (NMW) rates are effective from 1st April. Living Wage rates for 2022/23 were announced on Monday 22nd September 2022 and apply at HPC with effect from Monday 2nd January 2023.
CESA daily travel allowances / lodge (excluding bus allowances): Both Lodging & Travel allowances reflect the Construction Industry Joint Council Resolution and Promulgation Working Rule Agreement (WR.5 & WR.15). The daily fare and travel allowances issued on 25th July 2022 (version IR.2022Pay). The next version is due for publication at the end of May 2023.
CESA Sick Pay also reflects the Construction Industry Joint Council Resolution and Promulgation Working Rule Agreement (WR.20). The next version is due for publication at the end of May 2023.
ECSA accommodation & retainer allowances are based on the National Joint Council Communique 06(21) issued 24th September 2021. A.5 Accommodation allowance (NAECI 9.2)
ECSA sick pay rates are adjusted annually in line with the 12-month CPI average rate from November to October (Nov-21 to Oct-22 = 8.2%). October CPI results are released mid-November.
Harmonised bus allowances are based on the National Joint Council Communique 06(21) issued 24th September 2021. Journeys between park & ride centres and site are equal to the NAECI radius allowances (NAECI 9.1) scale 2 up to 20 miles. All journeys over 20 miles are double the scale 2 values.
Welfare benefits are largely based on the relevant provisions of the NAECI 2019-2020 agreement, A.7 Benefits Schedule (NAECI 11.3)
