We are thrilled to share with you the grand finale of our Platform Health and Safety Rewards and Recognition Programme, which has been a highlight for an entire year! On Tuesday, 23rd July, we gathered to celebrate this momentous occasion at the picturesque Quantock Lakes in the beautiful Somerset countryside.
This much-anticipated prize draw was brought to life by the collective efforts of many talented individuals: an innovative idea conceived by Sam Thomas, our Unite Senior Safety Representative; meticulously organized by Stuart Griffiths, our Project IR Director; and enthusiastically supported by Christopher Wilkinson, Bylor Project Director.
The event kicked off with a delightful BBQ lunch, offering everyone a chance to chat, mingle, and enjoy a sunny afternoon with friends and colleagues. The excitement built up as the time came to draw the winning name from the bucket. Christopher Wilkinson, brimming with anticipation, gave the names a good mix before selecting the lucky winner.
We are ecstatic to announce that the winner is none other than Unite Member Thapa Bombahadur, a dedicated Traffic Marshall on Nightshift! Congratulations, Bombahadur! We wish you countless miles of safe and happy driving ahead.
Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this programme a resounding success. Your commitment to health and safety continues to make a positive impact on our platforms and beyond.
